France - Strasbourg
France Part Deux!

Back to France a second time! This time to the Alsace region, making camp in Strasbourg and visiting Lucerne and Stuttgart. We have always been interested in Europe's Christmas markets. After an aborted trip to Amsterdam a few years prior, we decided to visit Alsace given it's distinct history and vibe relative to prior visits to Paris an Normandy.
Strasbourg turned out to be wonderfully unique - French, German, Swiss, and something in between. We made side visits to Stuttgart and Lucerne. Strasbourg's market was charming and a daily destination. The food was a hybrid of German and French, which suited us fine. Perhaps the south of France will be next!

Bonsoir Strasbourg! Loving our apartment circa 1904 with the view of the Cathedral Notre Dame de Strasbourg.

Quick day trip to Stuttgart today.
Very accessible city. Great food. Even got a little snow. Fantastic exhibits at the Mercedes museum. Incredible architecture as well. We'll worth a visit

Cathedral de Notre Dame, Strasbourg
Tallest in the world from mid 1600s to late 1800s.
